EVEREST TREKS:
Arrive in Kathmandu for several days of sightseeing and orientation before flying to Lukla in the Everest area to begin the trek. This trek will follow traditional trekking routes through Sherpa country with dramatic views of Everest and other Himalayan peaks. We’ll stay in Sherpa-managed lodges along the way, and trek an average 5-7 hours a day. This is a strenuous trek because of the altitudes averaging 3,000-5,000 meters and steep climbs. Trekkers in good condition and practiced in walking several hours a day should have no difficulties in making this trek. Gokyo Peak is 5483 miters.
